    Right, basically Thalric got itchy for a faster moving campaign rather than the usual slow pace on Redux, and I've started to feel like running another Chatzy campaign (I enjoyed the last one).

    For now, you are level 11, 32 point buy, average HP and standard money (See DMG). Pretty much all books allowed, just link me to the source.

    Same personal rules apply as usual; you are a TEAM, and I would prefer it if you didn't optimize, although you can (makes for more fun if you don't just crush eveything).

    So yeah. The reason I'm asking for characters now is so I can base a campaign around you guys a lot easier - if I know what I've got to work with, then things can go a lot smoother.

    Last point, although you're probably sick of listening to me - these sessions will PROBABLY be run between 8-9 in the evening, with friday's off. PROBABLY - I'll let you know nearer the time.

    I have no books. Well, no books on D&D anyway so if you can tell me what the standard starting money is that'd be great. Or any links you have to online resources, those are good too.

    Sure, the starting money is 66'000gp, and I donwloaded all the books I needed off 4shared.com (illegally, I'm afraid, but for free). Just search the book name and 4shared in google, it usually turns up.

    The essential books are of course Players Handbook (PH) and Dungeon Masters Guide (DMG), but there are lots of extra books for other classes such as complete scoundrel, complete adventurer, complete warrior, complete divine and complete arcane, as well as expanded psionics.

    If I was you, I'd check google/Thalric for a class that suits the kind of character you want to play, then download the book that class is in.

    Any more questions/requests from anyone?

    At the moment for my build you'll need eberron campaign setting for the class I'm using (Artificer) I'm probably going human. Also I'm taking leadership so do you want me to work out my cohort/followers?

    Cheers guys, mythweavers is still being a pain. I find it kinda funny how you guys have characters done within a couple of days of seeing a new campaign, but Pefkalos and Niddog take forever.

    Little bit of story for you:
    Not much is known about Cruril and his heritage, not even he knows a lot. All he knows is that his Mother was raped by a Demon and that's how he came into the world. Unfortunately this drove his Mother insane and so he was raised by his Uncle, on his Mother's side of course. He knew he was different and that he made everyone he met uneasy, he just didn't know why. Eventually it was explained to him and he decided that the best thing to do would be to live as detached from society as possible. For his own safety and that of others.

    And so he left his family and lived off of the land, roaming through the wilds he learnt how to survive, to move unseen, to find things and to go unnoticed. Eventually he came across a small group of Tieflings, only a few in number, who took him in and taught him to harness the gifts he was born with.

    While staying with this group he learnt that he was different even from them. He was less prone to the tricks and crimes they committed. He tried to teach them that what they were doing was wrong but they just laughed and left him. Now he seeks out Tieflings to try and stop them from giving in to their baser instincts.

    Whether through some unlikely coincidence or divine intervention Cruril was born with a twin sister who was not a Tiefling, but was an Aasimar. Lirurc Silverkin was probably a very big influence on Cruril's early life, particularly in leading him away from the temptation of evil and keeping his baser instincts in check later in life. She is currently a Cleric in the church of Pelor and a senior member there.

    I feel that it's worth mentioning that my character is very secretive, almost paranoid, and never divulges his race to anyone. He will always try to keep his face hidden, by hood or hat or anything else. Could be something that you can write into the campaign

    Background:

    Nexin Aldinarch is the first born son of Daunus Aldinarch current monarch of Erabis, a large and prosperous city state. Nexin has housed resentment for Daunus for a long time and for reasons only he knows. Ten years ago at the age of nineteen Nexin left Erabis to begin his subtle campaign against Daunus.
    Nexin has two younger siblings: Dias Aldinarch, his younger brother who has an established position in the cult of Yasul, a secretive sect that blend divine and arcana magic for their own purposes. This cult is barely tollerated by Daunus who hears a little of their activities. Dias's mind has been set against Daunus and wishes him to be removed from power so that the cult of Yasul will grow. Nexin has promised that if Dias and the cult will join him when the attack on Erabis takes place then the cult of Yasul will be made the offial religion of Erabis and Dias would be made the high priest.

    Lira Tennet is Nexin's younger sister. She was married off to a noble family in the neighboring state of Tenasina five years ago in an offer of peace to stop war from breaking out between the two states. She resented being forced into this marriage and has been using the resources in Tenasina to assist Nexin's crusade against Daunus, her mastery of politics has allowed her to worm her way into a strong influential position. However she does not intend to aid Nexin for free, his intentions of invading Tenasina after taking power are known to her and she will assist him in order to be made into one of his client Queens with rulership over Tenasina.

    Bachor Aldinarch is Daunus's brother and Nexin's uncle. When Daunus first got the throne Bachor was head of the King's elite guard, a small army of Duskblades and Warblades. During riots against increasing taxes and food prices Daunus made the mistake of allowing Bachor to restore order. He swept into the streets of the city with he regiments of elite warrior slaughtering anyone who got in their way. The people started calling for Bachor to be executed for this massacare but Daunus couldn't give the order, instead he banished Bachor from his lands. Bachor took his own family and all the Guard who were loyal to him to form a new settlement. Bachor's hate for Daunus after that event grew stronger every day for his 30 years of exile which was spent training his two children how to fight and keeping his small army ever vigilant and ready to attack. Ten years ago when Nexin swore to take the throne from Daunus he came to Bachor's settlement and told him of his plan. Bachor merely laughed at him and told Nexin to prove himself worthy of taking the thrown of Daunus and then he would offer his force to him.

    Nexin has spent the last ten years slaying the most powerful beasts and people he could find, from living saints to vile monsters, high priests to cult leaders, Nexin has killed them all and awaits the message from Bachor. In this time Nexin has gathered a retinue of loyal followers and attempts to make alliences with powerful factions wherever he goes to assist him when he decides to besiege Erabis. Nexin has a large amount of followers as spies in various cities and several within the standing army of Erabis itself, each of them regularly feed him infomation and are ready to do their duty at a moment's notice. Everywhere he goes he pays bards and gets his followers to spread tales of a Heroic Prince seeking to liberate his homeland from the clutches of his tyranical father in an attempt to gain even more support and start building his legend.

    Nexin's oldest friend is Hannet Ishan, son of a noble family in Erabis. Hannet started manifesting arcane powers from an early age many of them fear related. They have known each other their entire life with Hannet being around three years younger than Nexin. When Nexin left Erabis to plan his crusade it was natural that Hannet went with him, Hannet, like Nexin, intends to be an impossing and terrifying sight and uses magic and study into fear itself to achieve this goal.

    Yeric Calends Is a blacksmith from the villige of Gerund. Or he would be. Unfortunatly he isnt and it his eternal regret he hadn't heard of the trade route going round the great forest for some reason. His curiosity promted him to seek his fortune in the rearby city of mahgnimrib. Through the forest. The forest in which no woodcuter ventured, no hunter hunted, and through wich no roads were built. In there he met Silas. Silas was a name once feared, a name reviled. A name taboo'd so strictly that no one even remembers it anymore. Silas was a((epic level duid)) forrest keeper and forrest taker. Nothing could stop his expanse of the worlds forests, the destuction of towns, citys, nations fell to His oceans, mountains and dark forrests. Having wasted away with the ravages of time, his spirit haunted the forest in search of a host. Until Yeric came along he was surviving the pull of his eternal rest by teaching off the life of small forest creatures. Then curious yeric came, and provided a body for Silas. Though things did not go as planned. Time had depleted his powers somewhat so he did not expunge Yeric's spirit but lived on inside his body. He also granted by accident a small portion of the druids most basic power to him. Petrified by this sudden change, yeric ran back to Gerund in fear, but upon his aproach in his fear, silas took control, when Yeric reawoke he was in a house, his mouth was covered in blood and the vilagers were dead, flayed, ripped and mauled. He now seeks a new home, and has found it in the company of Nexin, although he doesnt trust him, he smells like Silas.
