Who you are, what you are and what you do is not important. What is important is what you can do. Travel to the village of Ethenel, you will not find it on a map, nor will you need one. If you are meant to recieve this letter, then you will find the village. Once there, head to the old manor house and there you will recieve a full explanation.
For those who need convincing, following this path will benefit you to no end, and society more. If you need a reward to motivate you, then you shall have one. I offer you a chance to change the world. But there is work to be done first.

The Fall takes place a little over a millenia since the Third Planar Rupture. The Human Dominion is the dominant power in the world and is set on controlling as much as they can.
Time runs as standard 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year, 12 months a year, nice and easy. Dates are measured relative to the Planar Ruptures, for example the current year is 3.1172. 1172 years since the Third Planar Rupture. The current full date is 3.1172/5/16, although you won't often see it recorded outside of things like governmental buildings wherever you are.
