Gladiatorial Campaign

Ellrich grunts and offers forward his arm.

Once more the man smiles and he jabs into Elrich's vein for 1 point of damage he collects the blood before healing Elrich for 6.


"Excelent choice gentlemen"

As the rest of the team are already armed all apart from the man that just healed you are led out into the arena. About 80 feet away from the group is a long spiked metal beast. Almost feline in it's likehood it has six long clawed legs keeping it low to the ground, large metal spines covering it's back and a bladed metal tail. It paws the sand of the arena and then roars.

The man in grey robes starts to speak. "Tha..that is a MkII Linebreaker, I thought they were all decomissioned. I'm Grysir by the way and if we make it out of here alive you can thank me for what I'm about to do." He snaps a twig that he was holding in his fingers.

Jamven nods, then assumes a defensive stance with his Greataxe and readys an attack against any kind of movement from that 'Linebreaker' thingamajig

Elayne sizes the distance, and delays till after Grysir shows what he can do.

Ellrich grins. Then stands behind Grysir with his sword arm thing held ready.

The beast looks at the 4 people arrayed in a rough line with the fith standing behind Grysir. It chooses Jamven as it's target and charges, his swing glances off the beasts hide as it strikes him for 11 points of damage. He is catapulted back 20 feet and slams into the arena wall taking another 5 points of damage from the blow and he falls unconsious. closer up you can see the beast's armoured hide is dented and damaged and it is obviously not in good condition.

Grysir swears and snaps his twig before launching a bolt of shadow at the creature, it recoils a little bit in pain but it shrugs off the damage.

Astrid nimbly takes a quick step towards the side of the creature, serches for an opening in it's hide and nimly strikes her blade flashing blue.
"Get round the sides! If it cant bite us or hit us with the tail we should be safe!" She shouts at the others.

Her attack is dodged by a grace you wouldn't expect from such a machine.

Jamven is bleeding out and loses another hp.

Grimacing at the wreckage of what was done to Jamven, Elayne moves into the side to attack.

"You better be right..."

The attack hits hard and opens up a gash in the beast's side.

As Erolac appears not to wish to post and has been given enough time and reminders to post his character will do what we deem appropriate.

Elrich shouts then charges the beast and attempts to hack at it with his blade cutting a small hole in the beast.

In it's turn it rears up on it's hind four legs, attempts to bite Elrich, slashes with it's claws at Elayne and it's tail whips towards Astrid.

Elrich takes 6 points of damage as his is bitten in the shoulder.

Elayne takes 7 points of damage from the first claw and 5 from the second

Astrid gets slashed across the forhead by the tail, it causes a deep wound and she takes 6 points of damage.



Grysir swears underhis breath before making a gesture with his hands, shadowy tendrils emerge from the ground and entwine themselves around the Linebreaker.

" I Did not expect that... I need a bigger weapon..."
Astrid quickly and nimbely(sp???) runs over to jamvens body and takes the greataxe off his body.
"I need this more than you do, put up with it"

(YOU COULD AT LEAST STABILISE ME WHILE YOU'RE AT IT!)

Elayne focuses her attack on the metal beast, before glancing down at her wounds and taking a step back..

the attack hits and her strike tears a large gash in the beast. It lets out a shriek of mechanical pain.

Elrich rolls to the side hacking at the beast.

"This ain't gon be easy..."

Elrich's last jab tears a hole in the beasts neck, it's head droops, lifeless. The croud burst out in appluse and the guards don't rush you back to the cells like last time, they let you enjoy the croud's affection. However two of them go up to Jamven, stabalise him and carry him towards the medical complex.

Asdtrid looks up at the crowd, and a grin splits her face side to side. Slowly she raises her hands above her head, and slowly starts to clap, edging the crowd top clap in time with her, while she climbs on top of the Line breaker.

Elayne glares hatefully at Astrid
"People like you make me sick, you, you didn't even do anything!"

Then turns and stalks out of the arena
