He is already out of sight.

"We should keep moving, once safe I can patch my wounds"

Lathra gets up and helps Sigma walk. "C'mon, I don't want two of you to die."

I'll accept his aid, "I have no plans that involve dying"

Lathra continues with Sigma, and helps him slowly to the evac point. "We'll wait for the evac, then get you back safe. I'll ask him if he can return here tomorrow, and if he can I'll do a little.... poking around during the night."

"Sounds good, maybe we'll have a better chance to plan. We did rush in a little"

As you slowly make your way back to the road where you were dropped off, you hear the sound of a vehicle passing along the road towards the facility, by the time you make it to the side of the road it has already passed. You wait for a while in hiding at the side of the road, nothing passes for a while until you see the familiar armoured car that dropped you off drive up and park.

Barry sticks his head out of the door of the car and smiles

"Where'd 3rd one of you go?"

"Where'd you go?"

"He got seriosuly hurt, had to leave him, presumed dead or captured. Sigma's also hurt, he needs to get back."

(Is Barry driving, or the driver from before?)

Same driver as before is in the front of the car. He actually speaks this time.

"Ge 'im inside tha' car now, no time ta waste. Mission failed then ah? I have a feelin' the boss won't be too happy"

(Imagine strong Jamaican accent)

"Not failed yet, just extended. Give him my apologies." He helps Sigma into the car, then turns to Barry. "If you have weapons, then I would appreciate your help."

"My thanks for your help, and good luck in your course"

I'll then set about making my weapons safe, safety on, clips out, chambered rounds back in the clips, the usual. I'll do that slowly so as not to aggravate my wounds

The driver says in his strong accent "Before I's forget, you too have ta place these around their base," He points to three small beacons on metal poles in the back of the car. "Orders from the boss, make a triangle around tha base. Didn't tell me much else. I'll be back in abouts too hours, Barry get out mah car and help this unhurt man set up tha triangle. Oh yeah injured man, tink I has a medkit for ya at tha base, should fix you up in no time."


Once Barry is out the car, he'll turn around and drive off.

"Unless you get the job done, I'll be back as soon as I can"

"Right then, I think we should skirt around the woods and stay just within them so we can get a different angle on their base, check out the current situation. Can you grab those beacons?"

Barry shrugs and hefts the beacons, then turns towards Lathra

"Lead on little man, don't get me hurt like those two"

"Ha, I'll try. Just stay quiet, unlike the others." He heads off round the right hand side of the forest carefully, keeping an eye out for possible sentries or patrols.

Barry once again shrugs, and follow Lathra just as carefully, though not bothering to keep a proper watch out. He's never been very observant before and he's still fine

As you walk for a few minutes round the side of the hill, you don't spot or hear any guards or sentries. But a cold voice whispers past your ears "Mission Failed, turn back now." Neither of you can work out where the voice came from.

Barry grunts, shaking his head and decides to plant a beacon before turning round to try see if he had actually heard what he thought he did, if anything at all. No use in jumping at shadows....

Lathra takes comfort in Barry's nonchalence, and continues on to get a good view of the base, crouching into the foliage to remain hidden.

The voice is closer now, almost right behind you. "If you carry on with this course of action both your lives will be forfeit"

"Barry.... can you hear that?"

"All I heard was a cowards mumblings" Despite himself Barry shifts granting easier access to his weapons. "Let's just keep on with the mission"
