"Alright, but you're taking point." Lathra pulls out his pistol and quickly checks it to make sure its ready for firing.

Barry mumbles something incomprehensible to himself and trudges in front of Lathra, "Just don't die on me, little man"

Lathra laughs. "I'll try, but no promises."

You hear the voice say, "The tension in the air is so thick...you could cut it with a knife." On the last word a humanoid figure appears next to Lathra, the figure wears a full armoured body suit made of a material you have never seen before. He weilds a long, thin, curved blade in one hand. As he appears his blade cuts through Lathra's pistol, sheering it cleanly in half.

Barry spins around, hefts and throws one of the beacons at the humanoid, dropping the other on the ground whilst reaching to draw his minimi.

The beacon isn't well balanced to be a weapon, let alone a throwing one. It flies off course and thuds onto the ground about 20 feet away. The humanoid starts moving towards you as you draw your weapon, he moves unaturally quickly and is soon right up next to you.

Lathra runs straight at the guy and attempts to collide with him and knock him away from Barry.

As you run he kicks you as you are just about to collide with him. Your body loses momentum as you are momenterily shaken by this sudden strike and your attempt to knock him away fails. "You fight with vigour when you lose your arms you held so dear...interesting." He speaks without emotion, "How about you, Sir? How do you fight" the second phrase is addressed to Barry.


Lathra takes 7points of nonlethal damage

"With Bullets"

Barry unleashes a full round of fire at the man.

"But you fight good..."

"I was waiting for that." As Barry pulls down on the trigger to release the hail of death the man strikes with his blade two handed. It goes through Barry's weapon without resistance, cleaving it seemlessly in two. He then makes a strike at Barry himself which narrowly misses his throat. "Do not place your trust in your firearms" The humanoid starts to move away, putting distance between the group and himself.

"This guy scares me..." Lathra whispers to Barry. "I'm not strong enough to beat him. I can't even think of an appropriate quip."

"Fine then, let's brawl" Barry cracks his knuckles, dropping the remnants of his gun

"It hardly seem fair if you're allowed that point thing, no?"

The man stops moving away and turns around. If his mask didn't disguise his face you would almost think he were smiling. "Very well, let us fight like true warriors." He sheaths his blade and steps forwards.

"Yes, let's dance" Barry launches a fist right as the side of his face

The man takes a very defensive stance and dodges Barry's wild right. His return jab towards Barry's chest is strongly blocked by Barry.

Lathra stays out of a fight clearly out of his league, waiting in case Barry gets in trouble.

Barry sweeps at the mans legs, attempting to take his feet out from under him

The sweep connects with the man's front leg but fails to take him down. The man moves recklessly close to Barry and drops his fronthand to deliver a strong elbow to the side of Barry's head. The attack connects with suprising force for someone with a much slimmer build than Barry and knocks him back a step.


Barry takes 5 points of nonlethal damage.

Barry grunts, and throws a fist at the man's stomach

Barry's fist heavily impacts into his chest. The man doesn't react to the blow but you know that you did some decent damage.

In return you see both his feet flying towards your head, his legs wrap around your neck with inhuman dextarity and he throws you face first to the floor. When you turn to look upwards you see him in a low crouched stance above you and punches you in the head very hard. He then stands up straight and bows. "You have done well, Learn to trust in your hands more than your weapons. Between the two of you, you have both strength and valour. This mission shouldn't be too hard for you, the Insurgent stronghold will be locked down for at least an hour then they will start sending large patrols out to sweep the area, make sure you are not caught by them." He turns to depart and walks away. "I'll be keeping an eye on you two."

"I am so fucking tempted to shoot him..." Lathra's trigger finger twitched. "Fuck it, I gotta conserve ammo. Lets get on with this, quickly."

Barry sits up and rubs his head

"Strange bloke that one, but what am I gonna do about my gun, the AK will have to do for now"

Lloyd wakes up in a small room, the walls are coated with heavily chipped white paint. All your equipment has been taken off you and you are tightly bound to a chair. Two armed guards watch over you, when you wake up they start to speak "Hey Boss, looks like we didn't swiss cheese him too badly them, this one's awake. Time to find out who him and his friends are."

Oh, hey, I appear to be tied to a ch... oh shi-. ANd its "he" not "him". Well if you must know I have a severe pain alergy...
